Incorporated in 1958 as a charitable, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) Ohio corporation, Filling Homes has grown over the years to become a major provider of services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Filling Homes consists of the following residential facilities: a 56-bed intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ICFIID), two ICF group homes that serve eight people each, six 811 PRAC project homes that provide affordable, subsidized housing for a total of 24 individuals. Additionally, Filling Homes provides a variety of educational, vocational, life-skill development, and socialization opportunities through two habilitation centers; one at the base facility in Napoleon, Ohio and the other, called Trinity Place, in Bryan, Ohio. Filling Homes’ Therapy Center offers aquatic, recreational, speech, language, physical, and occupational therapies. Filling Homes’ full-time chaplain offers opportunities for worship and Bible study. Filling Homes operates in Henry, Fulton, Williams, and Defiance Counties and has been a level one and IO waiver provider since 1996. Filling Homes employs more than 350 people from around northwest Ohio and operates on a budget of $10,000,000 annually.
