Children’s Storytime at Napoleon Library

Children’s storytimes at Napoleon Public Library include fun, interactive stories, songs and rhymes. They are followed by craft sessions or Toddler Time, an independent and group play session for children to move their bodies and practice their fine motor skills with a variety of toddler friendly activities. The children’s storytimes will be held at 10:00AM on each of the following Friday’s in July:

Lane has had multiple heart surgeries since he was 8 days old due to being born with a rare congenital heart defect. Since his last surgery in the fall, he has been removed from the heart transplant list for now and is living a full and happy life.
On July 19th, we’re coming together at The JGB Sports Facility for a special 3-on-3 basketball tournament and raffle event. Raffle Proceeds will be donated to Make-A-Wish by Lane’s Request.

The Madagascar Jr. directing team is offering an Audition Workshop for students who are new to auditioning or anyone who needs audition tip refreshers! We will review the process of auditioning, assist with vocal confidence, review monologues, and help with projection. We can also assist with filling out audition forms and can take a headshot for you if needed. The Audition Workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 15th from 6-7:30PM at St. Martin’s Church in Archbold. Caleb Wyse and Julie Weber will be leading this workshop.

Author Peyton June book signing at LC Library

LC native, Peyton June, will be at the Liberty Center Public Library on Saturday, July 19th from 10AM-1PM signing copies of her critically acclaimed debut novel, Bad Creek.

“While staying in her childhood cabin in Northern Michigan, a teen girl investigates her sister’s drowning with the help of her lifelong friends, only to discover her family’s summer traditions serve a dark purpose.”
Peyton will have copies of her haunting YA novel available for purchase at the event.
We are excited to have the opportunity to host Peyton June, and would encourage everyone to make a trip to the library on July 19th to purchase a signed copy of her book!

Ice Cream Celebration at Four Corners Heritage Center

The organization’s focus is to preserve the history from the townships of Damascus, Harrison, Monroe and Richfield of Henry County, Ohio. Discover local history in the museum located on County Road M west of County Road 7 in Grelton.
The museum is open during events or by appointment.
The 2nd Sunday May – December is the monthly open house from noon to 4pm.

Humane Society Bingo

Since 1998, the HCHS has been successfully operating a State licensed bingo game to help keep our shelter operating. This is important to our shelter as we receive no county or state funding. Players and volunteers are always welcome!
Monday nights @ the Filling Home Community Center- 470 Independence Drive, Napoleon, Ohio.
Doors open at 5pm – games start at 7pm.
Must at least 18 years of age for entry. You must play bingo or volunteer to be present. Volunteers may arrive as early as 4PM to assist with set up. (Please contact us in advance if you choose to help with set up.)
